Overview

The solution allows tourists to easily discover destinations, book services, and stay connected throughout their journey, while also providing real-time data and support for service providers and the government. This initiative has revolutionized tourism in Meghalaya, enabling smoother operations, better planning, and more memorable travel experiences.

The Ask

Meghalaya Tourism, in its digital journey, envisioned an integrated tourism solution that would benefit all its stakeholders; to enable the state and various service providers to create memorable travel experiences for tourists. A digital suite that can offer multiple services through a unified platform considering the realities of post covid era.

Solution

xLayer developed a solution that provides seamless destination discovery, bookings, ticketing, customer connect, training, helplines and feedback. It provides real-time updates on footfalls, traffic, and occupancy and help the stakeholders manage pricing and carrying capacity. The Meghalaya Tourism App enables tourists to plan their trip and booking hotels, taxis, and guides. It offers a single window access to information, tourist facilities and various services.
